ABC News Interview with Dr Erin O'Donnell on Water Trading Rules

Water Law and Policy Specialist Dr Erin O'Donnell from the University of Melbourne, was interviewed by ABC News on the wake of recent proposals from federal environment Minister Sussan Ley.

The Environment Minister who represents a regional NSW electorate in the Murray - Darling Basin had argued, that only people who have a "connection to farming" should be allowed to own water in the Murray- Darling Basin. However, in her interview, Dr O’Donnell suggested there has been no evidence that restricting the number of people or type who has access to water market will have impact on the water prices.
