New look at the Indigenous Law and Justice Hub
Have you visited the new look of the Indigenous Law and Justice Hub at the Melbourne Law School?
The Indigenous Law and Justice Hub office is a cosy spot on the Mezzanine Level at the Law School, tucked right behind a busy student study area. This space has a bit of history—it used to house the Academic Support Office, and every now and then their memory still lingers, as we stumble across some of their old office supplies hidden in our filing cabinets!
In 2024, we decided it was time to give the office and surrounding study space a fresh new vibe. Enter Carly Donovan, an incredible artist from the Wiradjuri and Dhungutti nations, who created some stunning digital artwork just for us. Not only do her designs brighten up our physical space, but they will also feature in our future Hub communications and media.

We are so delighted to have Carly Donovan’s beautiful artwork in the space. Carly sought to bring the plants from outside the building into the halls to sooth everyone here.
We are in the mezzanine floor of the Melbourne Law School. Come past and say hello.
