Melbourne Law School is committed to ensuring new graduate researchers make a smooth transition to commence their research.
New graduate researchers will take part in an exciting one day program of activities and presentations to give them a taste of what studying at Melbourne Law School will be like and to ensure they are well prepared to commence their research.
The one day orientation program will be held on Monday 25 February 2019. Included in the program is a welcome by the Dean, Professor Pip Nicholson and Associate Dean (Research), Associate Professor Farrah Ahmed. An introduction to the expectations of graduate researchers, an introduction to their cohort and an outline of Melbourne Law School's candidature milestones. Graduate researchers will also hear from staff and current students about various support services including supervision, funding opportunities, academic careers and skills.
