Study Abroad/Exchange Research program
Melbourne Law School (MLS) offers graduate research students from international institutions the opportunity to visit the University and complete a period of research as part of their home degree studies.
MLS can host a maximum of three students per semester, with a preferred visit length between 3-6 months. Longer requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Successful applicants will be provided with a workspace, library access and regular supervision. They are also encouraged to participate in the academic and student life of the Law School.
Visits can be accommodated during Semester 1 (February-June) and Semester 2 (July-November).
Visits commencing during late December or January will not be accepted.
Applications can be submitted at any time; however, they will be considered twice a year in a competitive process. It is recommended to submit your application at least two weeks before the closing dates.
