MCCL Internship Program

2025

MCCL was pleased to welcome four Legal Interns in the JD in semester 1, 2025

Pinidu Chandrasekera, Benjamin Moore, Matthew Griggs, and Samuel Roussos joined MCCL’s Taxation Law & Policy, Corporate Law & Financial Regulation, and Construction Law Programs. During their internship, they worked with the Associate Directors: Professor Miranda Stewart, Professor Andrew Godwin, and Associate Professor Wayne Jocic. The internship is for credit in the Legal Internship (LAWS50059) JD subject. It aims to provide students with the opportunity to develop practical legal skills and engage in a public or policy focused legal workplace experience.

2024

The Corporate Law and Financial Regulation Program was pleased to welcome the first MCCL Legal Intern

Kinnie Leung, a third-year JD student, interned with MCCL in Semester 2, 2024. Kinnie as part of her Legal Internship subject. Under the supervision of Professor Andrew Godwin, Kinnie engaged in a variety of activities, including contributing to an MCCL research project focused on reforms to the legislative and regulatory framework to accommodate Decentralised Autonomous Organisations (DAOs). Kinnie describes her internship experience at MCCL as ‘an engaging and educational opportunity to learn in a dynamic environment.’
