Jeannie Marie Paterson specialises in the areas of contracts, consumer rights and consumer credit law, as well as the role of new technologies in these fields.

Jeannie’s research covers three inter-related themes:

  1. Support for consumers experiencing hardship and marginalisation,
  2. The ethics and regulation of AI and digital technologies in consumer markets, and
  3. Regulatory design for protecting consumer rights and promoting safe and trustworthy technology.
