Shibani Ghosh

Shibani Ghosh is an Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India, and a Visiting Fellow, at the Sustainable Futures Collaborative, a New Delhi-based research organisation. As a litigator, Shibani appears in environmental cases before the Supreme Court of India and the National Green Tribunal, a specialised forum for environmental cases. Shibani researches and writes on issues relating to Indian environmental law, regulation, and governance. She has authored several articles, book chapters, and opinion pieces on environmental issues. She edited 'Indian Environmental Law: Key Concepts and Principles' (Orient Blackswan, 2019). Shibani was associated with the Centre for Policy Research, New Delhi, in various capacities from 2010 to 2023.
