11th Asian Constitutional Law Forum
Centre for Comparative Constitutional Studies will host the 11th Asian Constitutional Forum on Monday 7 December and Tuesday 8 December 2026. The overarching theme of the Forum is ‘Constitutionalism in Asia in a Changing World’. The ACLF is held once every two years under the auspices of the Association for Asian Constitutional Studies. The Forums provide a forum for dialogue among scholars interested in constitutional law, constitutional theory and constitutional developments in Asia.

2025 CCCS Constitutional Law Conference
The 2025 conference will open with the second Michael Crommelin Lecture on Thursday 24 July 2025. The lecture will be delivered by the Honourable Catherine Holmes AC SC, former Chief Justice of Queensland and Royal Commissioner, Royal Commission into the Robodebt Scheme. Friday 25 July will be an all-day conference with four expert panel sessions.

BIICL-MLS Conference
Melbourne Law School is Australia's first all-graduate faculty. The Melbourne Law School was the first faculty in Australia to teach law, and awarded this country's first law degrees. We have now committed ourselves to build on our more than 150 year history of excellence and innovation by shifting from undergraduate legal education to the global standard, graduate level Juris Doctor degree.
Faculty members associated with the Centre for Comparative Constitutional Studies teach in all programs of the Law School and supervise graduate researchers.
Melbourne Law Masters
We are delighted to announce the fantastic line-up of courses scheduled for 2023 on the Government Law Programme of the Melbourne Law Masters. The subject offerings include an exciting mix of established favourites and new courses. The courses are taught by leading jurists drawn from the academy, judiciary and legal practice. Within the Masters programme subjects may be packaged in various ways, depending on interest. Most subjects are taken intensively over a five-day period, though three subjects take place over the course of the semester: Constitutions in Global Perspective (Semester 1), Hot Topics in Public Law (Semester 2) and Separation of Powers (Semester 2). Subjects may be taken singly or towards a Diploma, a Specialist Masters degree, or the LLM. Anyone potentially interested in the program is welcome and encouraged to discuss subject selection with the Director of Studies, Professor Jason Varuhas.
