Professor Margaret Young

Professor Margaret Young is Director of the Institute for International Law and the Humanities (IILAH) at Melbourne Law School. She currently holds an Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellowship on ‘The Blue Economy and International Law’. In 2023, she completed an ARC project on ‘The Potential and Limitations of International Adjudication’ with Professor Hilary Charlesworth (now Judge of the International Court of Justice).
